Our Process
Every Dubuc piece is created slowly, intentionally, and entirely by hand in my studio.
This is not mass production. It’s a considered process where every detail matters—from first sketch to final stitch.
01 — DESIGN
Each piece begins as an idea in the studio. Silhouettes are sketched, refined, and reworked with attention to balance, movement, and feel. I design with the intention of creating pieces that enhance confidence and feel effortless on the body.
Imagery direction:
Sketchbook pages, fabric swatches, moodboards, hands sketching designs, close-up pencil detail work.
02 — CREATE
Once the design is finalized, each garment is carefully cut and sewn by hand. This is a slow, hands-on process where structure and softness are balanced through precise construction.
Imagery direction:
Studio workspace, sewing machine in motion, fabric being cut on a table, hands pinning fabric, thread and textile close-ups.
03 — REFINEMENT
Every piece is fitted, adjusted, and refined until it feels right. This stage is about ensuring the garment moves well, fits beautifully, and reflects the standard of care behind Dubuc.
Imagery direction:
Fit sessions on a model or dress form, mirror adjustments, hemming details, fabric being smoothed, final garment worn in natural light.
Dubuc is not made in bulk—it is built with intention, one piece at a time.
Because what you wear should feel as considered as the life you are creating.
